Worship at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Spokane currently online only, but we will resume in-person worship beginning Sunday, March 7. We will continue to have online worship available here for those who prefer that option.
We gather live on Sundays at 10 a.m. (PST) – the link to our Facebook page is on each website page, and afterwards, the videos from our services will be available here. During Lent, we also gather for Evening Prayer on Thursdays at 7 p.m. (PST) via Zoom and livestream, with services available here afterwards.
Third Sunday in Lent
March 7, 2021 – 10:00 a.m. (PST)
in-person and online
God gives the law at Mt. Sinai and Jesus upsets the usual way of doing things at the Temple in Jerusalem. Jesus is challenging, yet again, the boundary between the letter and the spirit of the law.

Second Sunday in Lent
February 28, 2021 – 10:00 a.m. (PST)
Jesus tells his disciples about what is to come in Jerusalem and what it truly means to be his disciple. He challenges his followers to put their focus on God and on the gospel he brings – the good news of what God is doing in the world, for all peoples. We also hear about God’s covenant with Abraham and Sarah, a promise of descendants, land, and blessing to all.
First Sunday in Lent
February 21, 2021 – 10:00 a.m. (PST)
Immediately after Jesus is baptized by John, he goes into the wilderness. In those 40 days, he was tempted by Satan, accompanied by wild beasts, and served by angels.

February 17, 2021 – 7:00 p.m. (PST)
On Ash Wednesday we enter the season of Lent, a time to pause, acknowledge and repent of our sin and separation from God and each other, renew our commitment to being disciples of Christ, and refresh our Christian disciplines of giving, praying, and fasting.
Evening Prayer in Lent
Each Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. (PST)
We gather for a short service of Evening Prayer each Thursday evening during Lent (February 25-March 25), including scripture, reflection, prayer, and song. If you would like to join via Zoom, please email the Intern (see Contact Us page) for the link.
